What are MoxProxies tokens?

Our tokens are premium trading card accessories, available in stainless steel or cardstock with full-color UV-printed artwork on the front and original commissioned art on the back. They're designed to replace the flimsy paper tokens most TCGs ship with.

What are they made of?

Our steel tokens are cut from 0.7mm brushed stainless steel — scratch-resistant, durable, and won't curl or fall apart. Our cardstock tokens are printed on premium card stock at 1440 DPI. All tokens are produced entirely in-house.

How big are they?

Standard TCG card dimensions — 63mm × 89mm (2.5" × 3.5") with 3.5mm rounded corners. They match the size of any standard trading card.

Will they fit in card sleeves?

Yes. Our tokens fit comfortably in most standard loose card sleeves. Perfect-fit sleeves may be too tight for the steel tokens given their added thickness, so we recommend standard sleeves for those.

Are these tournament-legal?

Accepted Answer

No. Our tokens are designed for casual, home, and Commander play — not for sanctioned tournaments. Most tournament formats have strict rules about physical card substitutes, and our tokens do not meet those requirements. Always check with your event organizer before using any third-party accessories at a sanctioned event.

What's the difference between In-Stock, Ready Design, and Custom?

In-Stock tokens are original designs from our catalog, ready to ship from our workshop. These are the quickest option and cost the least.Ready Design orders are for customers who already have print-ready artwork. You supply the design, we handle production. Perfect for bringing your own creative vision to life with minimal back-and-forth.Full Custom orders are where we design everything from scratch based on your brief. You tell us what you want, we design, iterate, and produce a truly one-of-a-kind token.

How long does an order take?

In-Stock orders typically ship within a week of purchase.Custom orders (both Ready Design and Full Custom) generally take 1–2 weeks depending on complexity and current workload. We'll communicate a clearer timeline once your order is confirmed.Bulk orders will take longer — please reach out first so we can discuss timing, quantities, and any design requirements.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes. Discounts are automatically applied at checkout based on order size:

Can I request a token for a specific theme that isn't listed?

Absolutely. If you don't see what you're looking for in our catalog, place a Ready Design or Full Custom order instead. We love working on new ideas. Our catalog grows over time based on what our customers ask for.

What do you need from me for a Ready Design order?

Accepted Answer

A print-ready file in high resolution — we recommend at least 600 DPI at the final card size with, ideally, 1/8" art bleed along the edges. PNG, JPG, or TIFF formats work best. We'll confirm your file is usable and reach out if anything needs adjusting before we start production.

How does the design approval process work for Custom orders?

Once you place your order, we'll work with you on the brief, create a proof, and send it for your approval. No token goes into production until you've signed off on the design. Most custom orders include one or two revision rounds at no extra cost.

What if I don't like the result?

Accepted Answer

For custom orders, we work closely with you through the design phase to ensure you're satisfied before production begins. Once the design is approved and the token is produced, custom orders are final sale — so the approval step is your chance to catch anything that isn't quite right.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to Canada and the United States directly through our website. For international customers outside North America, please visit our Etsy store where we fulfill orders worldwide.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary by destination and carrier. Within North America, most orders arrive within 3–7 business days after dispatch. Tracking information is provided with every order.

What if my package is lost or damaged?

Please reach out to us immediately if your package arrives damaged or doesn't arrive at all. We'll work with you to resolve the issue — whether that means resending the order or filing a claim with the shipping carrier. We stand behind every piece we ship.

Can I return my order?

In-Stock orders can be returned within 30 days of delivery, at the customer's expense. Items must be in original condition and returned in their protective packaging.

Custom and Ready Design orders are final sale once you've approved the design, as each token is produced specifically for you and cannot be resold.

No. MoxProxies is an independent maker of third-party trading card accessories. Our tokens feature original commissioned artwork and are not produced, endorsed, or licensed by any trading card game publisher. We love the hobby and make what we'd want for our own games.
